Registration Dates and Times:
•Returning Customer Registration: Wednesday, August 21st beginning at 6:30 p.m.
•New Customer Registration: Friday, August 23rd beginning at 6:30 p.m.
•Registration after August 23rd will remain available online until all sessions are sold out.
•We will accept children that turn 5 by April 15th, 2020. We expect our enrollees to be ready and willing to positively cooperate in our structured lesson setting. If you are in doubt of your child’s readiness to begin our program, we believe it is best to wait.
Our Secure Site:
•Our online registration system is operated by Winning Solutions Inc. of Ames, IA. They utilize Authorize.net, the world leader in secure internet merchant transactions for all transactions.
About the Registration Process:
•You will have 30 minutes to complete your registration before the session times out. If a session times out, the “seats” or spots in the class you have chosen are forfeited and return to the system’s “seats available” pool.
•This system is conveniently set up for multiple family member registration----you may register all of your children in a single transaction.
SwimAmerica Registration information for ALL enrollees:
•Semi-Private session (8 lessons): $114.00
•Private lesson session (4 lessons): $134.00.
•New participant Program Initiation Fee is $25.00. This fee is a one-time charge for each new participant and includes a complimentary T-Shirt and a program Award Certificate that has room to apply award stickers for each of our 10 levels.
•An Online Registration Processing (per checkout) fee of $4.00 will be assessed (no matter how many family members you register at one time).
•Electronic Credit / Debit card payments are the only form of payment accepted using either Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express

New participant placement guidelines:
•When registering a new enrollee, you will be asked to enter a placement level to assist us in your child’s initial lesson placement. If you are unsure of the ability level, it is best to choose a lower level.
•Please select the level of ability from the following:
•Level A. Non Swimmer
•Level B. Ability to place head underwater
•Level C. Front float, back float, and kicking
•Level D. Front crawl with breathing
•Level E. Advanced competitive skill beyond D
Returning customer information:
•Returning customers will get a 48-hour priority enrollment before enrollment opens for new SwimAmerica customers.
•Returning customers are permitted to register only immediate family members and/or new family members enrolling for the first time.
•Your family ID number is required to login for returning customer registration.
•This number appears on the email notification you received with your registration announcement.
•Graduate Levels 11-13: For SwimAmerica level 10 graduates we offer our “medal series” of lessons. To qualify for this level, a child must have completed our SwimAmerica level 10. The “medal series” of levels 11 through 13 offer challenges in three additional levels that are more pre-competitive in nature with an emphasis on conditioning. Our reward system for new level attainment is a bronze medal for level 11, silver for level 12, and gold for level 13. Each participant in a graduate level class will receive a participation medal. Graduates may test/advance only one level per session.
•We also offer evening private lessons for children 4 and over. Please reference the "Private Lessons" menu tab for details.
•If you are interested in parking near the pool for our daytime classes, ISU Parking Services will offer SwimAmerica clients parking permits that are valid in the visitor parking lot #100 at the Lied Rec Center at a cost of $5.00 per session. You may choose to pay this during the registration process. Your confirmation email will include a temporary parking permit which is only valid for the first day of the session. A parking permit for the remainder of the session will be given to you on the first day of the session at check-in. We will have permits available for purchase at check in as well. For our evening classes; University parking lots open to the public at 5:30 p.m. and are available for parking (where permitted).
Required Release Form:
•Iowa State University and our insurance carrier require that all Cyclone Swim School participants have a release and medical authorization form signed prior to any enrollee’s participation. During the online registration process, you will be required to provide your electronic signature on this form during registration.
•Due to our limited enrollment, only medical emergency situations will be considered for a refund less a $10 processing fee. Any withdrawal from an enrolled session will be treated as a cancellation and is not refundable. Refunds will not be given for absence due to illness or other conflicts.
